I \u00e5r har vi udvidet vores r\u00e6kkevidde for at byde fremragende studerende fra to nye, pulserende markeder velkommen: <strong>Colombia<\/strong> og <strong>Sydafrika<\/strong>. Dette markerer et vigtigt skridt i vores l\u00f8bende engagement i at bringe talentfulde unge mennesker fra hele verden til vores partnerskoler i USA.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I mange \u00e5r har ASSIST opdyrket st\u00e6rke relationer med skoler prim\u00e6rt i Europa og forbundet enest\u00e5ende studerende med transformerende uddannelsesmuligheder. I \u00e5r er vi glade for at kunne udvide vores arbejdsomr\u00e5de og udnytte det rige akademiske potentiale i Latinamerika og det sydlige Afrika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>En lovende start i Colombia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assistscholars.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-design-1.jpg\" alt=\"Colombia kort og flag\" class=\"wp-image-57550\" style=\"width:321px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.assistscholars.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-design-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.assistscholars.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Untitled-design-1-250x300.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vores indtog i Colombia har v\u00e6ret s\u00e6rligt opmuntrende takket v\u00e6re den uvurderlige st\u00f8tte fra det nuv\u00e6rende ASSIST-bestyrelsesmedlem Adriana Le\u00f3n. Hendes forbindelse med <a href=\"https:\/\/glm.edu.co\/\"><strong>Gimnasio La Monta\u00f1a<\/strong><\/a>en f\u00f8rende privatskole i Bogot\u00e1, har banet vejen for et frugtbart partnerskab. Vi blev meget glade, da mange talentfulde studerende udtrykte interesse for vores f\u00f8rste \u00e5r. Fra denne imponerende pulje valgte vi en enest\u00e5ende gruppe p\u00e5 fire stipendiater, som uden tvivl vil repr\u00e6sentere Colombia og ASSIST godt som vores f\u00f8rste gruppe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u00e5r vi ser fremad, er vores begejstring for Colombia til at tage og f\u00f8le p\u00e5. Martin Milne, ASSISTs pr\u00e6sident, og Christine D'Angelo, direkt\u00f8r for international studentrekruttering, rejser dertil i juni for at styrke vores partnerskab med Gimnasio La Monta\u00f1a og udforske mulighederne med yderligere partnere. At tilf\u00f8je Colombia som partnerland fremmer vores bestr\u00e6belser p\u00e5 at bringe studerende fra nye omr\u00e5der rundt om i verden til at berige vores medlemsskolers samfund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Opbygning af et fundament i det sydlige Afrika<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assistscholars.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Southern-Africa.jpg\" alt=\"Det sydlige Afrika - kort og flag. Bl\u00e5 baggrund. \" class=\"wp-image-57551\" style=\"width:324px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.assistscholars.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Southern-Africa.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.assistscholars.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Southern-Africa-250x300.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vi er ogs\u00e5 glade for at kunne byde velkommen til <strong>Nomvuyo Lerato Mzamane<\/strong> til ASSIST-teamet som vores nye programkoordinator med base i Sydafrika. Selvom Nomvuyo kom til senere i rekrutteringsforl\u00f8bet, har hun allerede demonstreret sin dybe erfaring inden for uddannelse, sit omfattende netv\u00e6rk, sin entusiasme for ASSIST og sin gode forst\u00e5else af amerikanske friskoler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mzamane har i sin rolle hos ASSIST erfaring som specialist i skolestart og multimedie edutainment-ekspert med en karriere, der sp\u00e6nder over tre \u00e5rtier p\u00e5 fire kontinenter. Hun er en prisbel\u00f8nnet underviser med base i Sydafrika og arbejder for en r\u00e6kke nonprofitorganisationer, og hendes samfundsm\u00e6ssige interesser omfatter afrikansk litteratur\/sprog og kulturaktivisme, beskyttelse af b\u00f8rn, pigers rettigheder, p\u00e6dagogisk iv\u00e6rks\u00e6tteri og social retf\u00e6rdighed. Hun har v\u00e6ret skoleleder i flere lande, hendes egne familiemedlemmer har g\u00e5et p\u00e5 nogle af ASSIST-skolerne, og hun har v\u00e6ret v\u00e6rt for ASSIST Scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det sydlige Afrika best\u00e5r af 16 lande, men vi er glade for at kunne begynde med at fokusere p\u00e5 Sydafrika og bringe disse Scholars ud til vores medlemsskolers lokalsamfund i efter\u00e5ret og fremover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samlet set repr\u00e6senterer tilf\u00f8jelsen af Colombia og Sydafrika til ASSIST-familien et sp\u00e6ndende nyt kapitel for vores organisation og vores partnerskoler. Vi ser med sp\u00e6nding frem til de unikke perspektiver, talenter og den kulturelle rigdom, som studerende fra disse regioner vil bringe til vores f\u00e6llesskab. Denne udvidelse styrker vores forpligtelse til at fremme et virkeligt globalt netv\u00e6rk af enest\u00e5ende elever og styrker den mangfoldige struktur i vores medlemsskolesamfund.
