Wood Rutter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Woody ist das dienst\u00e4lteste ASSIST-Vorstandsmitglied und geh\u00f6rt dem Gremium seit 1982 an. Seine umfangreichen Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Schule, Fundraising und interkulturelle Beziehungen machen ihn zu einer enormen Bereicherung f\u00fcr ASSIST. Im Laufe der Jahre hat er in mehreren Aussch\u00fcssen mitgearbeitet, zuletzt im Ausschuss f\u00fcr Entwicklung und Alumni-Beziehungen. Woody war einer der wichtigsten Interviewer f\u00fcr ASSIST in Ost- und Mitteleuropa, einschlie\u00dflich Litauen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus war er \u00fcber drei Jahrzehnte lang einer der f\u00fchrenden Interviewer f\u00fcr Bewerber in Deutschland. Er ist der Verbindungsmann des ASSIST-Vorstands zu den Ehemaligen und geh\u00f6rt dem Lenkungsausschuss der Kampagne an. Woody machte seinen Abschluss an der Phillips Exeter Academy und studierte anschlie\u00dfend an der Washington and Lee University. Seinen M.A. erwarb er an der Universit\u00e4t von North Carolina. Woody verbrachte den gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil seiner Karriere, n\u00e4mlich 31 Jahre, an der Salisbury School, wo er Franz\u00f6sisch und Spanisch unterrichtete und in vielen verschiedenen Verwaltungsfunktionen t\u00e4tig war (u. a. als Direktor der Zulassungsstelle, Direktor der Entwicklungsabteilung und stellvertretender Schulleiter), bevor er die Position des Schulleiters an der Beaufort Academy \u00fcbernahm. Woody hat in zahlreichen Schul- und Gemeindegremien mitgewirkt. Er war Vorsitzender der Historic Beaufort Foundation und ist Vorsitzender von Thumbs-Up\", einer Organisation, die Nachhilfeunterricht f\u00fcr Kinder aus sozial schwachen Familien anbietet, sowie der Public Library Friends of Beaufort. Er ist au\u00dferdem Mitglied des Kuratoriums der Salisbury-Schule.
