George Patterson 94
George is currently an investment banker at CODE Advisors, a technology and media focused boutique financial services firm headquartered in San Francisco and with offices in London and New York. From July 2013 to July 2015, he served as the Co-Head of Software, Systems and Solutions Investment Banking at Barclays Investment Bank, based in New York. From January 2009 to June 2013, George was Head of Technology Investment Banking, EMEA, for Barclays, based in London. Prior to Barclays' acquisition of Lehman Brothers’ North American operations in 2008, he worked in the technology investment banking group at Lehman Brothers, which he joined in 2000.
George joined ASSIST’s Board of Directors in 2014 and currently serves as the chair of the audit committee and as a member of the executive and finance committees. He was an ASSIST Scholar at Northfield Mount Hermon school in 1994, having previously attended Melbourne Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia. George graduated from Brown University in 1998 and is married with three children. His perspective as an alumnus and personal experience as an international exchange student make him a valuable addition to the ASSIST team.
