\n\t\t\tApplication Process for 2026\/27 Scholarships\t<\/h2>\n\t
Together with our Slovak partner,\u00a0Asoci\u00e1cia absolventov \u0161tipendijn\u00fdch programov<\/a>, we invite scholars interested in study in the US to apply.<\/p>\n
We are primarily seeking students for placement in U.S. Grades 10 and 11<\/b>. We also have a limited number of opportunities for exceptionally strong applicants interested in Grade 12 or postgraduate<\/b> positions.<\/p>\n
The application for the 2026-27 school year is open. Follow the steps below to apply:<\/p>\n

- Complete the online application<\/strong> and submit a copy of your academic transcript<\/strong> via the ASSIST application portal<\/a> no later than November 28<\/strong>. A $35 U.S. application fee is required to submit your application.<\/li>\n
- We will review these materials and invite selected candidates to an interview<\/strong>\u00a0with members of the ASSIST U.S. team in December<\/b>.<\/li>\n
- Those asked to advance in the competition will also be required to submit three teacher recommendations, informal photos, and a short statement from a parent or guardian <\/strong>in the same application portal<\/a>. <\/strong>Additionally, if your first language is not English, you will be invited to take the Duolingo English Test<\/b>. These materials are needed as soon as possible, but no later than December 15.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n

Those asked to advance will be invited to an interview. Interviews for Slovak candidates will be held in December. A team from the U.S. will interview students in small groups. The interview is fairly informal and is a chance for us to get to know applicants better and help find the right school for each.<\/p>\n
The Admission Committee makes scholarship decisions in January and will inform every applicant of the outcome.<\/p>\n

Every ASSIST Scholar receives a scholarship for their year abroad.<\/strong> This scholarship grants each student access to a leading private American high school. For Lindfors Scholars, member schools fund at least 50% of its tuition, the remaining school tuition and ASSIST program fee is included in The Lindfors Scholarship program fee.<\/p>\n

The Davis Scholarship Program is unique in that it allows students to study for two or three years at one of the six boarding schools that are part of the Davis International Scholars Program. Davis Scholars graduate with an American high school diploma and may go on to study at a college or university in the U.S. or the U.K.<\/p>\n
Davis Scholars receive:<\/p>\n

- $25,000 from The Davis Scholars Program towards tuition annually for their boarding school years. Depending on a family’s financial need, the school will provide a scholarship for the remainder of tuition, room and board.<\/li>\n
- $25,000 towards tuition annually for four years of undergraduate work, if accepted to one of the UWC partner universities and colleges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Candidates from countries that are historically underrepresented at US boarding schools are welcome to apply. These include but are not limited to Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Somaliland, Turkey or Southern African countries.<\/p>\n

Students who are awarded the Kemper Scholarship earn the opportunity to study for one year at Phillips Academy Andover, a boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts, as a 12th grade or post-graduate student. Students typically attend Phillips Academy the year after completing high school in their home country.<\/p>\n

Students are awarded financial assistance sufficient to meet 100% of a family’s full financial need to study for one year at Phillips Academy Andover. Applicants will be required to complete a financial aid application.<\/p>\n
Candidate eligibility requirements include:<\/p>\n

- Must be a European citizen<\/li>\n
- Not typically older than 18<\/li>\n
- Must be eligible to participate as a 12th grade or post-graduate student of Phillips Academy<\/li>\n
- Must be qualified to obtain a Phillips Academy diploma after successful completion of the academic year<\/li>\n
- Must NOT have previously studied in an English-speaking country for a semester or more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Upon completion of their year at Phillips Academy Andover, students must return to their home country for at least one year. For this reason, Kemper Scholars are not able to work with Phillips Academy Andover’s college counselors.<\/p>\n
