\n\t\t\tInternational Scholarships for Colombian Students\t<\/h2>\n\t

ASSIST connects exceptional students from Colombia with top private high schools in North America through competitive, international, one-year scholarships. Currently we work with two outstanding school partners in Bogot\u00e1.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"\"\n\t\t\t\t\"\"\n\t

Together with our partners, Gimnasio La Monta\u00f1a<\/a> and Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros<\/a>, our U.S. team guides Colombian families through the application and interview process, and later will guide Scholarship Winners as they are expertly placed at a member school. ASSIST’s global team also offers comprehensive cultural preparation and support throughout the student’s exchange year.<\/p>\n

ASSIST Scholars from Colombia can turn their scholarship year into a launchpad for university success, career advancement, and lifelong global leadership.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tApplication Process for 2026\/27 Scholarships\t<\/h2>\n\t

We are seeking students for placement in U.S. Grades 10 and 11<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Follow the steps below to apply:<\/p>\n

  1. By November 1, register your interest with your school and complete their requirements for ASSIST consideration. Your school will inform you if you will advance to step 2.<\/li>\n
  2. Complete the ASSIST online application<\/strong>\u00a0and submit a copy of your\u00a0academic transcript<\/strong>\u00a0via the\u00a0ASSIST application portal<\/a> by December 1.<\/strong> A $35 U.S. application fee is required to submit your application.<\/li>\n
  3. Submit three teacher recommendations, informal photos, and a short statement from a parent or guardian<\/strong>\u00a0in the same\u00a0application portal<\/a>\u00a0as soon as possible, but no later than\u00a0December 21<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Scholarship Finalists will be invited to an\u00a0interview<\/strong>\u00a0and, if they are not native English speakers, will be required to take the\u00a0Duolingo English Test<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tASSIST APPLICATION PORTAL\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

    \n\t\t\tInterviews and English Language Testing\t<\/h2>\n\t

    Scholarship Finalists will be invited to an interview and asked to complete a Duolingo English Test.<\/p>\n

    The Duolingo English Test costs $70 USD and must be completed by December 21.<\/p>\n

    Interviews for Colombian candidates will be held virtually in January. The interview is fairly informal and is a chance for us to get to know applicants better and help find the right school for each.<\/p>\n

    The Admission Committee makes scholarship decisions in February and will inform every applicant of the outcome.<\/p>\n

    Every ASSIST Scholar receives a scholarship for their year abroad.<\/strong>\u00a0This scholarship grants each student access to a leading private American high school. In addition, students become lifelong members of ASSIST, forming worldwide connections and joining an extraordinary network of over 6,300 accomplished alumni.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tASSIST Sanderson Scholarships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Awards full tuition and room and board at a private North American boarding school or full tuition at a private day school and housing with an American volunteer host family.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tASSIST Lindfors Scholarships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Awards partial tuition and room and board at a private North American boarding school or partial tuition at a private day school and housing with an American volunteer host family. For Lindfors Scholars, member schools fund at least 50% of its tuition, the remaining school tuition and ASSIST program fee is included in The Lindfors Scholarship program fee.<\/p>\n

    ASSIST is proud to partner with The Davis Scholarship Program. Applicants can apply though ASSIST and be considered for ASSIST, Davis and Kemper scholarships – all through one ASSIST application.<\/p>\n

    The Davis Scholarship Program is unique in that it allows students to study for two or three years at one of the six boarding schools that are part of the Davis International Scholars Program. Davis Scholars graduate with an American high school diploma and may go on to study at a college or university in the U.S. or the U.K.<\/p>\n
