John R. Eidam
Jack has served in many roles on the ASSIST Board of Directors for 17 years, and his long tenure and many talents make him a highly valuable member of the team. Jack currently serves on the Finance Committee, the Student Recruitment Task Force, and the Admissions Advisory Council. As a retired leader of Wyoming Seminary, as well as a highly-respected name in the boarding school world, Jack offers unmatched insight and advice to ASSIST as we evolve. For many years, Jack has interviewed abroad as the leader of ASSIST teams.
Jack graduated from Lycoming College and received his M.Div. from Drew University. He went on to spend his entire professional career at Wyoming Seminary. He was awarded the coveted Ruzicka Compass Award from The Association of Board Schools in recognition of his work, as well as the Bretnall Award from the SSATB board (now The Enrollment Management Association).
Today, Jack is retired and lives near the school with his wife, Elaine. He is actively involved in ASSIST and in the broader educational field.
