ASSIST Scholars er stolte av \u00e5 \u00f8nske velkommen til Class of 2027: 171 eksepsjonelle studenter som skal tilbringe det kommende skole\u00e5ret ved 84 uavhengige skoler over hele USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASSIST er n\u00e5 inne i sitt 57. drifts\u00e5r og fortsetter \u00e5 bringe sammen unge mennesker, skoler, familier, alumni og st\u00f8ttespillere p\u00e5 tvers av landegrensene. \u00c5rets kull gjenspeiler den \u00f8kende rekkevidden av dette arbeidet, med stipendiater som representerer 31 land og et bredt spekter av spr\u00e5k, kulturer og perspektiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En global klasse med et felles form\u00e5l<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Siden 1969 har ASSIST koblet fremragende internasjonale studenter med omveltende utdanningsmuligheter ved ledende amerikanske friskoler. Det som begynte med en liten gruppe studenter, har vokst til et verdensomspennende fellesskap som i dag omfatter 658 tidligere studenter og stipendiater fra 66 land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c5rskullet 2027 videref\u00f8rer denne arven. \u00c5rets stipendiater kommer fra Europa, Asia, Afrika, S\u00f8r-Amerika og Australia, og med seg i bagasjen har de nysgjerrighet, akademisk styrke, lederpotensial og et engasjement for tverrkulturell utveksling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blant landene som er representert i \u00e5rets klasse, finner vi Australia, Bulgaria, Colombia, Etiopia, Finland, Frankrike, Georgia, Hellas, Indonesia, Italia, Jordan, Kasakhstan, Kenya, Litauen, Kypros, Kroatia, Moldova, Nederland, Norge, Polen, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spania, Storbritannia, Sverige, Sveits, Spania, Tsjekkia, Tyrkia, Ukraina, Ungarn, Storbritannia, Sverige, Tsjekkia, Tyskland, Ungarn, \u00d8sterrike og Usbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et sv\u00e6rt selektivt \u00e5r<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Interessen for ASSIST er fortsatt stor over hele verden. ASSIST mottok 1031 s\u00f8knader til \u00e5rskullet 2027. Av disse ble 171 stipendiater til slutt valgt ut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c5rets opptaksprosess gjenspeiler b\u00e5de det ekstraordin\u00e6re talentet til s\u00f8kerne v\u00e5re og den omhu som ASSISTs globale team har lagt ned i \u00e5 identifisere elever som er klare til \u00e5 trives i et amerikansk skolesamfunn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnerskap gj\u00f8r dette mulig<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hvert ASSIST-stipendiat\u00e5r er muliggjort gjennom et sterkt partnerskap mellom elever, familier, skoler, alumni, givere, frivillige og programkoordinatorer over hele verden. I \u00e5r har 84 skoler \u00e5pnet lokalsamfunnene sine for ASSIST Scholars, noe som ikke bare gir akademiske muligheter, men ogs\u00e5 tilh\u00f8righet, mentorskap, vennskap og vekst.<\/p>\n\n\n

Stipendst\u00f8tten bak dette arbeidet er like meningsfull. I \u00e5r er den st\u00f8rste stipendutdelingen p\u00e5 totalt $84 000. Disse sjener\u00f8se tildelingene representerer v\u00e5rt felles oppdrag og skolenes investering i unge mennesker hvis ASSIST-\u00e5r ikke bare vil forme utdanningen deres, men ogs\u00e5 lokalsamfunnene de blir en del av og det globale nettverket de vil bidra til \u00e5 styrke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ser fremover<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For hver enkelt elev er ASSIST-\u00e5ret mer enn en skoleplassering. Det er et \u00e5r med oppdagelser, utfordringer, selvstendighet og kontakt. Stipendiatene bidrar i klasserom, lag, klubber, kunstprogrammer, studentboliger, vertsfamilier og lokalsamfunn, samtidig som de f\u00e5r en dypere forst\u00e5else av USA og av seg selv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e5r vi n\u00e5 \u00f8nsker kull 2027 velkommen, feirer vi elevene som begynner p\u00e5 denne reisen, skolene som vil st\u00f8tte dem, og det globale ASSIST-fellesskapet som gj\u00f8r dette arbeidet mulig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
