\n\t\t\tInternational Scholarships for Students from \t<\/h2>\n\t

ASSIST connects exceptional Nordic students with top private high schools in North America through competitive, international, one-year scholarships. Our Swedish-based Program Coordinator guides families from \u00a0through the application and interview process, and later serves as a valuable guide as they are expertly placed at a member school. ASSIST’s global team also offers comprehensive cultural preparation and support throughout the student’s exchange year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tApplication Process for 2026\/27 Scholarships\t<\/h2>\n\t

We are primarily seeking students for placement in U.S. Grades 10 and 11<\/b>. We also have a limited number of opportunities for exceptionally strong applicants interested in Grade 12 or postgraduate <\/b>positions.<\/p>\n

The application for the 2026-27 school year is open. Follow the steps below to apply:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Complete the online application <\/b>and submit a copy of your academic transcript <\/b>via the ASSIST application portal<\/a> by December 1<\/b>. A $35 U.S. application fee is required to submit your application. Shortly after, we will review all submissions and inform candidates who will advance to the next step.<\/li>\n
  2. Those asked to advance will be required to submit three teacher recommendations, informal photos, and a short statement from a parent or guardian <\/b>in the same application portal<\/a>. Additionally, if your first language is not English, you will be invited to take the Duolingo English Test. <\/b>These materials are needed as soon as possible, but no later than December 21.\u00a0 <\/b>We will use these materials to determine our Scholarship Finalists<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. Scholarship Finalists will be invited to an interview <\/b>with members of the ASSIST U.S. team in January<\/b><\/li>\n
  4. Finalists will be notified <\/b>of the outcome in February.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tASSIST Application Portal\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

    \n\t\t\tInterviews and English Language Testing\t<\/h2>\n\t

    Scholarship Finalists will be invited to an interview and asked to complete a Duolingo English Test.<\/p>\n

    The Duolingo English Test costs $70 USD and must be completed by December 21.<\/p>\n

    Interviews for candidates will be held in January. A team from the U.S. will interview students in small groups. The interview is fairly informal and is a chance for us to get to know applicants better and help find the right school for each.<\/p>\n

    The Admission Committee makes scholarship decisions in January and February and will inform every applicant of the outcome.<\/p>\n

    \n\t\t\tASSIST Scholarships\t<\/h2>\n\t

    Every ASSIST Scholar receives a scholarship for their year abroad.<\/strong> This scholarship grants each student access to a leading private American high school. In addition, students become lifelong members of ASSIST, forming worldwide connections and joining an extraordinary network of over 6,300 accomplished alumni.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tASSIST Sanderson Scholarships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Awards full tuition and room and board at a private North American boarding school or full tuition at a private day school and housing with an American volunteer host family.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tASSIST Lindfors Scholarships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Awards partial tuition and room and board at a private North American boarding school or partial tuition at a private day school and housing with an American volunteer host family. For Lindfors Scholars, member schools fund at least 50% of its tuition, the remaining school tuition and ASSIST program fee is included in The Lindfors Scholarship program fee.<\/p>\n

    \n\t\t\tScholarships from Our Partners, Available Through ASSIST\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\tThe Kemper Scholar Program (Phillips Academy Andover)<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    ASSIST is proud to partner with The Kemper Scholar Program at Phillips Academy Andover. Applicants can apply though ASSIST and be considered for ASSIST and Kemper scholarships – all through one ASSIST application.<\/p>\n

    Students who are awarded the Kemper Scholarship earn the opportunity to study for one year at Phillips Academy Andover, a boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts, as a 12th grade or post-graduate student. Students typically attend Phillips Academy the year after completing high school in their home country.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Students are awarded financial assistance sufficient to meet 100% of a family’s full financial need to study for one year at Phillips Academy Andover. Applicants will be required to complete a financial aid application.<\/p>\n
