Colombia
International Scholarships for Colombian Students
ASSIST connects exceptional students from Colombia with top private high schools in North America through competitive, international, one-year scholarships. Currently we work with two outstanding school partners in Bogotá.
Together with our partners, Gimnasio La Montaña and Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros, our U.S. team guides Colombian families through the application and interview process, and later will guide Scholarship Winners as they are expertly placed at a member school. ASSIST's global team also offers comprehensive cultural preparation and support throughout the student's exchange year.
ASSIST Scholars from Colombia can turn their scholarship year into a launchpad for university success, career advancement, and lifelong global leadership.
Søknadsprosess for 2026/27-stipend
We are seeking students for placement in USA 10. og 11. klasse.
Follow the steps below to apply:
- By November 1, register your interest with your school and complete their requirements for ASSIST consideration. Your school will inform you if you will advance to step 2.
- Complete the ASSIST online søknad og sende inn en kopi av din akademisk karakterutskrift via ASSIST søknadsportal av December 1. A $35 U.S. application fee is required to submit your application.
- Submit tre læreranbefalinger, uformelle bilder og en kort uttalelse fra en forelder eller foresatt i samme søknadsportal as soon as possible, but no later than December 21.
- Finalistene vil bli invitert til et møte med intervju and, if they are not native English speakers, will be required to take the Duolingo English Test.
Interviews and English Language Testing
Scholarship Finalists will be invited to an interview and asked to complete a Duolingo English Test.
The Duolingo English Test costs $70 USD and must be completed by December 21.
Interviews for Colombian candidates will be held virtually in January. The interview is fairly informal and is a chance for us to get to know applicants better and help find the right school for each.
The Admission Committee makes scholarship decisions in February and will inform every applicant of the outcome.

ASSIST Scholarships

- Lindfors stipend: 50% eller mindre av full skoleavgift

- Lindfors Scholarship: $37000 U.S. (inkluderer skolepenger)

Our work in Colombia has just begun. Our first Scholars from Colombia are in the Class of '26. To date, over 6,300 scholars from over 62 countries have completed this transformative exchange year in North America and joined our global alumni network.
