Översikt över ansökningsprocessen
Applying for an ASSIST Scholarship is a multi-step process. For most applicants, all application materials are due 1 december, with the Duolingo English Test due December 15 if required.
Applicants from Germany and Switzerland follow a different application timeline. Please see below and/or visit the Germany/Switzerland page for specific deadlines and instructions.
Step 1: Complete Your Application
Logga in på vår ansökningsportal to complete your ASSIST application, which includes:

- Academic transcripts from the last full school year and a partial transcript from the current academic year, if available. Copies are sufficient during the application process. Scholarship recipients who enroll in the program will later be asked to provide official transcripts. A translation is appreciated but not required. School transcripts in their original language suffice.

Steg 3: Intervju
Selected candidates will be invited to interview with ASSIST. Interviews help us get to know candidates beyond their written applications and learn more about their interests, character, experiences, and readiness for an ASSIST year.
Most interviews are held in December and January. Depending on the applicant's country, interviews may take place in person or virtually.
Please visit your country's ASSIST page for specific information about interview dates and locations.
Step 4: Scholarship Selection and Notification
Following the application and interview process, ASSIST selects its scholarship recipients.
Candidates are generally notified of their application status in January and February. Students who are not initially offered a scholarship may be placed on a waiting list. Our waiting list closes in April.
Steg 5: Skolplacering
After accepting an ASSIST Scholarship and enrolling in the program, Scholars are matched by ASSIST with one of our American member schools.
Newly enrolled ASSIST Scholars are generally notified of their school placements in March and April.
