Miss Hall’s School gave me another perspective on women’s capacity. My ASSIST year was a defining moment in my life; I was so empowered. It made me say, ‘I want to live in a place where women feel as though they belong.’ I love how the people in my community have changed their mentality that women should be seen.

ASSIST gave me the chance to see the world in a way I never could from my hometown. It’s what makes this program special—it finds students with potential and gives them the chance to see themselves in a new way. To dream bigger. To make things happen.
ASSIST is a life-changing opportunity, truly. My ASSIST year allowed me to explore the world, yet find what I most appreciate at home. It is a powerful experience for a young person that I wish for as many students as possible.
Saint Andrew’s Preparatory School, in Boca Raton (FL)
Thanks to Assist I had the opportunity to study 11th grade at Saint Andrew’s Preparatory School, in Boca Raton (FL). After a wonderful academic year in the U.S., I returned to Madrid (Spain) to finish High School and soon after started my degree in industrial engineering.
My experience with ASSIST taught me to say yes to opportunities that arise, as they may end up being life-changing and eye-opening, just like ASSIST year was to me.

"My year in an American school with ASSIST made me see that every form of education is equally valuable - whether you are a humanities scholar, a scientist, an artist or an athlete you deserve the space to grow. Thanks to the program I realized I can, and have the abilities to pursue what I love: the arts. Last year I graduated cum laude from Harvard and I know I would have not done it without the ASSIST experience."
