Katie Hanlon joined ASSIST in 2026, bringing deep experience in nonprofit development and a strong track record of building philanthropic partnerships. Prior to ASSIST, she served as Executive Director of Project C.U.R.E. Chicago, where she led development efforts across board engagement, corporate and foundation partnerships, and major and individual giving. She has also held senior development roles at several nonprofit organizations and worked in major gifts at Rush University Hospital.
Her work is driven by a commitment to expanding access to life-changing educational opportunities and fostering cross-cultural understanding among future leaders. Katie holds a B.A. in International Studies and Diplomatic Relations from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she had a transformative study abroad experience in Milan and Dublin.
