Welcome to ASSIST Serbia
ASSIST became active in Serbia to help young Serbian students currently in the 9th or 10th grade who would like to spend one year as exchange students in the United States as 10th or 11th graders. There are also very limited places for 12th graders and post-graduates.
Our work in Serbia began in the 2015/16 academic year. Our first two Serbian scholars distinguished themselves in their American independent schools. It is through the leadership of our partner, T & T School of English, that this scholarship competition is made possible. We also work in concert with HMC Projects. To date ASSIST has had approximately 20 Scholars from Serbia.

Application Process for 2026/27 Scholarships
Together with our Serbian partner, T & T School of English, scholars interested in study in the US are invited to apply. To apply for the 26/27 school year, you will log into ASSIST's application portal. The application process for scholarships for the 2026/27 school year is now open. Beginning each year on the 15th of September, interested Serbian students can visit the Edu-link website where updated ASSIST scholarship information will be posted.
Once your application has been submitted, you will have access to a checklist listing additional required materials, like teacher recommendations and grade transcripts. We encourage you to check your applicant portal often to see the status of your materials.
Scholarships are also offered to boarding schools in the UK through our colleagues of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC).
